    The South Carolina Ports Authority saw an 8 percent growth in container volume during the fiscal year that ended June 30th. The authority said Monday that the equivalent of more than 1.6 million 20-foot containers moved through the Port of Charleston. That's about 2 percent more than expected. The June figure was up 19 percent from last year. The ports also handled more than 760,000 tons of cargo not shipped in containers.     A former member of Destiny's Child was arrested on the Grand Strand early Sunday morning. Farrah Franklin, 33, of Sherman Oaks, CA, was booked into the J. Reuben Long Detention Center at 4:55 a.m. She was charged with one count of disorderly conduct, according to the center's website. Franklin was issued a $280 bond.
