Are you ready for the digital transition on February 17th?
Six weeks from today television stations will all go digital.  That means no more analog signal.
And if you are on antenna or rabbit ears, you will need a converter box.
But a program to help people buy those converters has short circuited.
The government has been giving people 40 dollar coupons for the boxes, but now says the money is running out.
They’ve handed out about 18 million coupons so far to buy the boxes.
The head of the FCC hopes Washington lawmakers will give the program more money.
The government says people who still need a converter box should plan to buy one on their own.
