Greenville woman arrested in May shooting

A joint operation between the Pitt County Sheriff’s Office and Washington Police led to the arrest of woman wanted in connection with a shooting in Washington.

Authorities tell Nine On Your Side that they arrested 45 year old Lisa Laverne Woodley of Greenville.

Woodley had been wanted since the shooting, which happened on May 17th.

She’s facing charges of Felony Possession of a Firearm by a Felon, and a Grand Jury Indictment for Felony Assault with a Deadly Weapon with Intent to Kill Inflicting Serious Injury.

She’s in the Beaufort County Jail under a $1,000 unsecured bond.  Her first appearance is scheduled for Tuesday.
