A jury has been selected for the man accused of firing a gun at an interracial couple in a Walmart parking lot. Pitt County Assistant DA Glenn Perry says the trial for Donovan Williams will resume tomorrow as evidence was heard today. The DA’s office says Williams turned down a plea bargain for 15 years in prison last month. Officials say Williams pleaded guilty to one charge. Police say Williams shot at an interracial couple in the parking lot back in February.
