As Storm Team 9 forecasted, snow flurries are falling across much of eastern Carolina.

Eyewitness News has received reports from many across eastern Carolina who report seeing flakes fall.  Folks from Shine in Greene County, Pinetops in Edgecombe County, Greenville in Pitt County, and Kenansville in Duplin County have called reporting the season’s first flakes of snow.

While it’s not expected to accumulate, it’s a nice sight for those of us in the east that don’t see snow all that often.
