Political talk isn’t the only thing our future president is good at.
Did you know he also has a bit of a creative side?
A baker from Greensboro says he stumbled on some papers Barack Obama wrote in a creative writing class they took in college.
Bill Snyder made this sweet discovery, in the process of moving.
He saved all his papers from his creative writing class, including a poem Obama wrote entitled “Pop.”
Snyder believes the poem is about Obama’s father.
“I see my face framed within pop’s black-rimmed glasses and know he’s laughing, too. (signed) Barack Obama.“
Snyder says he knows he could sell the lost writings for tons of money, but he’s not looking to cash in.
He says he would like to get them back into the hands of our soon-to-be President.
And here’s another fun fact, Snyder says back then, Obama was the epitome of the Hawaiian surfer, and that he walked around in shorts and sandals all the time.
