Thanks to the work of Greenville firefighters, a congregation still has a place to worship Sunday.

A fire broke out this afternoon around 5:00 p.m. in the upper room of Pentecostal Faith Church on South Pitt Street.

Firefighters believe food on the stove caught fire and the flames traveled up through the stove vent and into the attic.

But fire crews had the flames out by 5:30 p.m.

No one was hurt in this fire.
