Some scary moments for some students at a Greenville school that went into lockdown this afternoon.
School officials locked students in at Sadie Saulter Elementary just after 4 PM today when there were reports of gunshots.
Greenville Police say someone reported a gun shot two blocks away on Davenport Road.
When they arrived and searched the area, they didn’t find a gun, a suspect or a victim.
Students at the elementary school have been released.
Officials say the lock down was just a precaution.
