Some Colleges For Lowered Drinking Age

Colleges all across the nation are asking lawmakers to lower the drinking age.
Presidents of about 100 colleges and universities want the drinking age to be lowered from 21 to 18.
They say current laws actually encourage dangerous binge drinking on campus.
The movement is called the Amethyst Initiative.
School officials are already facing criticism.
Mothers Against Drunk Driving says lowering the drinking age would lead to more fatal car crashes.
Duke University, is one of the schools that supports the lowered drinking age.

If a person can fight and die for our country at 18 then he/she should be able to drink at 18 or change the drafting age to 21!!!!!
