The Onslow County Board of Education is looking for input from the public about shifting student populations around.

There are three redistricting plans on the table for the county’s elementary schools.

One would move 537 students.

Another would move 625.

And a third scenario would move 626 students.

By the way, each of these plans would also move anywhere from 530 to 600 students into Stateside Elementary, a new school opening next fall.

There are several public hearings scheduled for parents, the next one is at 6:30 p.m., December 8th, at Richlands Primary.
