Tonight Blackwater is in the dog house again.
Federal prosecutors in North Carolina are reportedly investigating whether the private contractor smuggled weapons into Iraq by hiding them in large sacks of dog food.
Blackwater says it’s a common practice they use for exporting weapons.
They say guns are placed on the inside of pallets next to the dog food bags to prevent corrupt foreign customs agents and shipping workers from stealing them.
They say the weapons are accounted for on export paperwork.
