CHICAGO (AP) - Police say they believe one of two people found dead at a home on Chicago’s South Side is a relative of Jennifer Hudson.
Police spokeswoman Monique Bond says the deaths appear to be the result of domestic abuse but declined to elaborate. Public records list a Jennifer Hudson and Darnell Donerson - her mother’s name - at the address.
And authorities are looking for a 1994 white Chevrolet Suburban missing from the area around the home with 7-year-old Julian King inside. The child is also possibly a relative of Hudson.
The Cook County medical examiner’s office says the bodies of a man and a woman were found. Police tape blocks access to the large, white house, where a crowd has gathered.
A Hudson publicist at her record label said she wasn’t aware of any incident involving the singer’s mother, but didn’t immediately return subsequent messages. An email sent to Hudson’s personal publicist was not immediately returned.
