Arthur Mondale joined WNCT in December of 2007 as a general assignment reporter.
Before joining WNCT, Arthur was a reporter/photographer for EATEL News, a daily cable news magazine in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. During his tenure he covered a variety of statewide stories, including the March on Jena & The World Cultural Economic Forum, an initiative to promote tourism within the state following Hurricanes Katrina & Rita.
Prior to becoming a journalist, Arthur served in the United States Air Force. While active duty, Arthur completed tours in Texas, North Dakota, Germany & Italy. But it was while manning the installation gates on a tour to Iraq in 2003, that he first knew he wanted to be a reporter. He also wrote for the 'Northern Star', an Air Force newspaper.
Following his separation from the military, Arthur graduated summa cum laude in May of 2006 with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Broadcast Journalism from Edinboro University of Pennsylvania. While in college he worked as a reporter for Edinboro News Network & and interned at WJET-TV, Erie's ABC affiliate.
Originally from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, Arthur received valuable preparation for a career in television from his pastor, a former WPXI anchor/reporter, and cousin, a former WPXI producer.
In his free time Arthur enjoys taking road trips with friends and each year ventures back to Germany which he refers to as his second home.
