Kyle Andersen - Multimedia Continuous Coverage Coordinator

Kyle Andersen joined Eyewitness News 9 in June 2008 as the Multimedia Content Coverage Coordinator. He graduated Cum Laude from Elon University in May 2008.

Originally from outside of Philadelphia, Kyle loves the chance to start his professional journalism career in Eastern North Carolina. The first time he picked up a video camera for the news was when he was just 11 years old working for Valley Forge Middle School's monthly news program. That sparked an interest that followed him through High School and on to Elon University. At Elon Kyle did a little bit of everything from shooting video, to editing, even reporting. Eventually he found himself as Executive Producer/News Director of Phoenix14News, Elon's award winning weekly newscast.

Kyle also gained valuable journalism experience from two great internships. First at CBS3 in Philadelphia where he learned what it was like to be a news producer, then at Fox8 in High Point.

Following graduation Kyle was afforded the opportunity to come and run the assignment desk at WNCT. When you call with a story idea or news tip, he is usually the one you speak to.

In his off time Kyle loves to spend time with his fiancé and puppy, read, and of course watch Eagles Football!
