It’s a popular email that tells customers to redeem their gift cards as soon as possible or not buy them at all.
The e-mail says major companies are closing their stores.
Some of the stores mentioned in the e-mail include Circuit City, Ann Taylor, Lane Bryant, Home Depot and others.
Just Delete It!
While many companies are struggling and face an uncertain future, most of the store closings in the email have already happened or were planned in advance of the financial problems this year.
Financial experts say it is risky to put off redeeming your gift cards in times like these.
