No. 5 Duke beats Temple 87-52

DURHAM, N.C. (AP) - Chante Black scored 15 points and Shay Selby added a career-high 14 to lead No. 5 Duke to its 10th straight victory, 87-52 over Temple on Monday night.
    Joy Cheek had 13 points and Jasmine Thomas added 11 for the Blue Devils (12-1), who led 47-22 at halftime.
    Shanae Cotton scored 18 points to lead the Owls (8-5), who committed 18 of their 29 turnovers in the first half.
    Neither teams scored over the first 3½ minutes, but Duke answered Temple’s opening basket with an 11-0 run.
    The Owls cut the deficit to five points, but the Blue Devils responded with a 23-3 spurt to go up 36-11 with 6 minutes remaining in the first half. Temple turned over the ball on eight of nine possessions, including six straight, to ignite Duke’s run.
