JACKSONVILLE, N.C. (WNCT) - Authorities have arrested a man who was currently on probation for trafficking drugs in the Sneads Ferry area.
Travis B. Guthrie, 29, was charged with trafficking by possession of heroin, trafficking by manufacturing heroin and possession with intent to manufacture, sell and deliver heroin.
On Tuesday, the Onslow County Sheriff’s Drug Enforcement Detectives and Crime Reduction Team assisted the North Carolina Adult Probation and Parole with a search on the residence of Guthrie.
Authorities said they received many complaints regarding Guthrie’s drug activity.
During the search, a Sheriff’s K9 was deployed and authorities said they found over four grams of raw heroin, glassine bindles ready for packaging and various other drug paraphernalia.
Guthrie is currently on probation for previous drug trafficking convictions, authorities said.
He was sent to the Onslow County Detention Center under a $100,000 bond.
