Jonathan Rodriguez joined 9 On Your Side in July 2011 as a Digital Journalist.
He was born in California and grew up in South Carolina. He graduated from the University of South Carolina with a degree in Broadcast Journalism, and a minor in Criminal Justice.
He caught the "news bug" after an internship at MSNBC in New York. He also worked as a reporter at the University of South Carolina's newscast Carolina News.
Jonathan has greatly enjoyed his time in Eastern North Carolina.
After a year at WNCT he was named Rookie of the Year by the Associated Press.
