Cameron Clinard joined the WNCT team in May 2012. He works a hybrid
position where he edits video and helps produce the 5 and 5:30
newscasts. He also produces The Final Score and fills in if a producer
is out for the day.
He was born in High Point and has lived in North Carolina his entire
life. He graduated with a Communications degree from the University of
North Carolina in 2011. This is his first job in television news, but he
produced and directed a sports show at UNC and he interned at WSB-TV in
Atlanta.
Cameron is a big sports fan. He likes the Tar Heels, Atlanta Braves
and the Carolina Panthers to name a few. In his spare time he likes to
go bowling or stay at home with his dog and watch TV.
