WASHINGTON, N.C. -
A man arrested for repeatedly touching children inappropriately is facing more charges.
73-year-old Merrill Wallace posted bond after deputies charged him with sex offenses against 2 juveniles over the course of 50 years.
But detectives say they uncovered more cases. In fact, deputies now believe Wallace had 6 different victims.
He's now facing charges for those additional cases. Wallace is under house arrest.

Beaufort County deputies arrested a Washington man, charging him with sex crimes dating back 50 years.
Deputies arrested 73-year-old Merrill Wilson Wallace on Friday, after receiving tips of a sexual assault back in August. Investigators learned of additional victims that had contact with Wallace. The victims were juveniles when the offenses occurred. The oldest reported case was 50 years ago.
Wallace is charged with two counts of First Degree Sexual Offense and eight counts of Indecent Liberties with a Minor.
He's in the Beaufort County Detention Center under $150,000 bond. More charges are expected.
