SALISBURY, N.C. -
Food Lion is cutting jobs
on the corporate level, about 350 of them.
The parent company of the
grocery store made that announcement today.
In addition to those cuts,
they'll also eliminate 150 currently unfilled jobs.
The company confirmed
that some of those layoffs would happen in North Carolina.
Officials say it's to
make the company more efficient and competitive.
