Trial pushed back for murder suspect

GREENVILLE, N.C. - Prosecutors pushed back a murder trial scheduled to start Monday.

Willie Langley Jr., a criminal with a long rap sheet including assault, robbery, and murder, was expected in court. The Pitt County Clerk of Court's office says the trail will now start May 12th.

In 2011, Greenville police accused Langley of killing a 60-year-old man outside his home on Fleming Street.
They say it was during an armed robbery that Langley killed William Cooper.
