NEW YORK - He boldly asked out Hollywood star Mila Kunis over YouTube, and this weekend, one marine got his wish.
Hollywood a-list actress Mila Kunis this weekend made good on her promise to attend a Marine Corps Ball in North Carolina. She'd been invited to the event in June by Sgt. Scott Moore, who posted his video on YouTube back in June.
The clip went viral, and it's now been seen nearly four million times. Sgt. Moore has just returned from seven months of fighting in Afghanistan, and he joined the CBS Early Show Monday morning to talk about his high-profile date.

GREENVILLE, N.C. - Mila Kunis was a special addition to a very special night for Marines.
She arrived just before 2:30 pm and as she was turning into the convention center, we were able to catch a quick shot of the A-list actress Mila Kunis.
But that was the last we saw of her, because the media was not allowed inside the Marine Corps ball.
The night was truly about celebrating 236 years of Marine Corps history
"They're celebrating all of our Marine Corps history as well as the accomplishments and sacrifices they make while overseas and celebrating the lives of the fallen marines and sailors they lost while the were over there,” said Captain Scott Sasser.
A sad truth for the 3rd battalion, 2nd Marines who just recently came home from Afghanistan.
They lost seven of their own.
“To think about the things our marines and sailors did over there, it's humbling. You see the medals on everyone's chest of the accomplishments they made and to just talk with and see not only the marines who came back alive but the one who have come back wounded. Our wounded warriors are in there and you can see first hand the sacrifice a lot of people have made,” said Sasser.
“A bunch of us are going to go our separate ways and us as a battalion, we're going to spend this night together and just celebrate Marine Corps birthday under traditions we do for the Marine Corps everyday,” said Corporal William Steffy.
But the marines admitted having Ms. Kunis here, was an honor in itself.
“She’s going to get a chance to learn about the Marine Corps and were all going to have a great time celebrating the Marine Corps birthday,” Said Sasser.
“It’s good that she gets to come on a date with a marine so it's good for her you know,” Steffy said.

GREENVILLE, N.C. - Mila Kunis arrived in Greenville to attend the Marine Corps Ball Friday afternoon just before 2:30.
Nine On Your Side caught up with Kunis as she arrived at the Hilton ahead of tonight's miltary gala.
A Camp Lejeune Marine invited the actress to the ball in a YouTube video back in July and she said yes.
"Hey Mila. It's Sgt. Moore. But you can call me Scott. I just want to take a moment out of my day to invite you to the Marine Corps Ball on November 18th in Greenville, North Carolina with yours truly," said Moore in his YouTube invitation.
While it initially looked like a scheduling conflict would prevent the actress from attending, those fears were later laid to rest.
Kunis' publicist told Nine On Your Side a week ago that she would keep her word and attend the ball with Moore.
So Sergeant Moore's dream date is still on for later tonight.
Nine On Your Side will have more on tonight's ball on Eyewitness News 9 Nightside.
