RICHLANDS, N.C. - An Onslow County mother is behind bars, after a judge raised her bond.
Deputies arrested 33-year-old Michelle Woodhouse-DeBoyes.
They say she poured scalding hot water on her 9-month-old daughter.
Deputies say, when she couldn't get the child to stop crying, she filled a coffee cup with the water, then poured it on the child.
In a court appearance Tuesday, the judge sided with the prosecution to increase her bond.
She's facing felony child abuse charges.
