Eastern North Carolina's CW Named CW PLUS Station of the Year

GREENVILLE, N.C. -

Eastern North Carolina's CW, WNCT-DT2 (Greenville, N.C.), has been selected as "Station of the Year" for 2011 by The CW Television Network's CW PLUS division. The honor salutes outstanding performance and superior professionalism in sales, marketing, promotion and community outreach. WNCT surpassed 109 other middle- and small-market television stations across the country to achieve the prestigious award.

"We're very pleased to be recognizing what Eastern North Carolina's CW has accomplished over the past year," noted Russell Myerson, executive vice president and general manager of The CW PLUS. "The staff, under the guidance of WNCT Vice President and General Manager Vickie Jones, has done an exceptional job with strategy, execution and teamwork."
