GOLDSBORO, N.C. -
Detectives have made an arrest for a break in at EZ-Bait and Tackle on US 117.
30-year-old Jodie Steele Jr. is charged with felony breaking and entering, felony possession of stolen goods, felony larceny and habitual felon.
Officers say he'll also be charged with multiple felonies in Cumberland County.
Authorities say Steele and several others were involved in a crime ring, breaking into closed stores and stealing large amounts of cigarettes.
More counties have joined the investigation and possible charges in those areas are pending.
