
Greenville police are searching for three men who robbed and assaulted someone near Mid-Town Grocery on 14th Street.
We're told officers were called to Vidant Medical Center Sunday afternoon where the victim was being treated. He told police he was walking near the store when he was approached by three strangers who told him to give them everything he had.
The victim said one suspect struck him in the face with brass knuckles as the other two men began assaulting him. They got away with a gold chain and a watch.
One suspect was described as being approximately 5'6" with dark skin and bad acne marks on his face. He had brass knuckles on his hands with skull heads on them.
The second suspect was wearing a red hooded sweatshirt and a baseball cap with a Chicago Bulls logo. There was no description given for the third suspect.
Patrol Officers were unable to locate the crime scene.
