There was a mad rush for Krispy Kreme this weekend in Raleigh.
Runners hit the streets for the 9th Annual Krispy Kreme Challenge.
They ran 2 ½ miles, stopped and ate a dozen doughnuts, and then ran back.
The event raised more than $170,000 for the North Carolina Children's Hospital.
More than 8,000 people took part in Saturday's challenge.
The fastest time recorded was 31 minutes and 30 seconds.
