To reinforce Tuesday night's State of the Union address, President Obama hit the road Wednesday, campaign-style, to hammer home his plans.
He started in North Carolina, visiting a booming auto plant in Asheville. He called the plant and its success an example for the rest of the country.
"The true engine of America's economic growth has always been our middle class there are a lot of countries that have folks at the top are doing real well. Part of what sets America apart, ordinary folks if they work hard they can do well," said Obama.
The president continues his tour tomorrow in Atlanta. On Friday, he'll visit Chicago.
