GOLDSBORO, N.C. -
A major air show in the east is now grounded, and looming budget cuts are to blame.
The Wings Over Wayne Air Show scheduled for May at Seymour Johnson Air Force Base is canceled.
Base officials say it was an extremely difficult decision, but they're trying to take a proactive approach to minimize impact of budget cut.
No future air shows are scheduled at this time.
