
John Lennon's widow, Yoko Ono is celebrating her
80th birthday today. A retrospective of Ono's artwork is currently on display
in Germany. And Ono is still active in social and environmental causes.
Tina Fey has a new movie coming out. She
co-stars with Paul Rudd in "Admission."
Fey plays a Princeton University
admissions officer who discovers one of the college applicants might be the son
she gave up for adoption.
Fey says the film gives her a chance to
stretch beyond comedy.
"Admission" is out in theaters
March 22nd.
Golden Globe winner Maggie Smith says
she's grateful her hit drama "Downton Abbey" has such a huge
following. But she's never watched it..
Smith says maybe someday she'll tune in.
Hollywood kicks off Oscar week with
movie screenings and exhibitions ahead of the Academy Awards here at the Dolby Theater
on Sunday.
And just in time for Oscar week, best
picture nominee "Argo" is out on DVD Tuesday.
The film is based on a successful,
secret mission to rescue six Americans from Iran during the hostage crisis.
Also out on DVD, the historical drama
"Anna Karenina." It's up for four Academy Awards in design and
production categories.
