Teens arrested for car break-ins in Washington

WASHINGTON, N.C. -

Deputies arrest two people for a string of car break-ins in Beaufort County.

17-year-old Christian Warner and 18-year-old Steven Greene are in jail facing charges.

Deputies say they broke into several cars on Chesterfield Drive, Homeplace Road, CBH Lodge Road, and Cherry Road in Washington. Investigators say they stole sunglasses, loose change, computer tablets, iPods, and binoculars. They say they tracked those items down at the "Trade It" in Greenville.

Deputies returned the stolen items to the owners.
