GREENVILLE, N.C. -

Greenville Police have released surveillance video from an armed robbery at a Family Dollar store Wednesday night.

It happened around 10 p.m. at the store on Memorial Drive, near Arlington Boulevard.

We're told one of the suspects was armed with a stainless or silver-colored semi-automatic hand gun. The two gunmen threatened two employees inside the store and demanded money from the cash register and safe. They left with an undisclosed amount of money.

One of the men was wearing a white hockey mask on his face. The second had a red bandana concealing his face.

No injuries were reported.

The suspects got away on foot, in an unknown direction. A police dog followed the track south to Meridian Park Apartments before it lost the scent.

The robbery was caught on store surveillance. Detectives are now evaluating that video and say they will release it to the media.
