As American Heart Health Month comes to an end, Vidant Health is hosting several events that are all about women's heart health.

Heart disease is the number one killer of women so they're getting the word out about heart disease prevention through the Heart Truth Speaking Tour.

Guest speaker Eliz Greene will be sharing her experience with women across the east. Eliz was seven months pregnant with twins when a massive heart attack- resulting in a cardiac arrest, C-section, and open-heart surgery- changed her life.

The tour will stop in several cities in the east next week.

Vidant is also hosting its annual Heart Truth Social in Greenville Tuesday, February 26. 9 On Your Side's own Amanda Goodman is emceeing the event again this year.

Attendees can enjoy heart healthy drinks and beverages while learning more about heart health from keynote speaker Eliz Greene and heart specialist Dr. Noel Peterson.

The Heart Truth Social will be held at Rock Springs Center from 6-8 p.m.
