BEAUFORT, N.C. -
A Newport man is behind bars for exposing himself along a busy coastal roadway.
Deputies with the Carteret Count Sheriff's Office say they arrested 21-year-old Emmanuel Padilla-Barajas in connection with a series of indecent exposures along Hwy 24.
He's accused of driving up and down the highway, exposing and shaking his penis at three female victims and one juvenile female victim.
Padilla-Barajas later confessed to the incidents during questioning by deputies.
He was charged with three counts of misdemeanor Indecent Exposure and one count of Felony indecent exposure because an 11-year-old juvenile was in one of the vehicles when the exposure occurred.
Padilla-Barajas was placed in the Carteret County Jail under a $10,000.
