AYDEN, N.C. -
A woman and her son are alright following an afternoon accident.
It happened on Highway 102 in Ayden.
Police tell 9 On Your Side that they believe the woman hydro-planed in the single car accident. The car spun around, landing in a ditch.
She and her son suffered minor injuries, mainly from the air bag deployment.
Traffic slowed in the area for about 20 minutes.
Thr road is now open and traffic is flowing normally.
