GREENVILLE, N.C. -
Two East Carolina University professors will have a special front row seat to watch the stars at the Oscars.
Tracy Tuten and Christy Ashley will track social media use, celebrity influence and the brands presented on the red carpet. They'll have bleacher seats just outside the Los Angeles Dolby Theatre.
The professors will get to see film directors, producers, and actors walk to the 85th Academy Awards Ceremony. Their trip is paid for by private money from a development fund for research by business faculty members.
