
Take a breath the next time you're at the gas pump. There may be some relief from the recent price hike.
The Lundberg Survey says the reasons behind the spike are gone.
The national average for a gallon of regular unleaded is $3.77.
And in North Carolina, the average sits at $3.79. That's up more than 50 cents over nine weeks.
Lundberg says crude oil prices are now going down and wholesale prices are also starting to tumble.
Today's average is about 10-cents more than what we saw a year ago.
