GREENVILLE, N.C. -
Greenville Police are still looking for one of two men who they say made false reports claiming to be shot over the weekend.
The other, 26-year-old Anthony Lester, is in
custody at the Edgecombe County Detention Center under a $250,000 bond.
Police still have warrants out for 23-year-old Samuel Finch. Police say the Finch and Leser called 911 last Saturday saying they were shot at different areas in town, but had few details.
Police said the two were lying. They believe Finch and Lester were actually in the same car together and involved in a gun fight with another car in Edgecombe County.
Both men are listed as convicted felons with several prior arrests.
Police are investigating the incident with help from Rocky Mount PD.
