The "Dream Team" from JH Rose visited several Pitt County elementary schools today.
Dream stands for Daring to Role Model Excellence as Athletic Mentors. The group is sponsored by the North Carolina High School Athletic Association.
9 on your side Sports caught up with the group at Wahl-Coates Elementary School this morning as the students read to the younger aged children. The older group participated in a sprited rally on sportsmanship.
"This is a great group of kids and they really enjoy going out for things like this," said Marie Lewis, who coordinates the program at JH Rose.
