GREENVILLE, N.C. -
A handful of area high school basketball teams advanced to the Sectional Finals in the state playoffs Wednesday night.
At the 3A level it will be West Craven and Havelock locking horns in a rematch of the Coastal Conference Tournament Finals game.
In 2A, defending state champions, Kinston will host Northeastern. Farmville Central has Bunn at home. In the bottom half of the bracket it will be Northside Jacksonville on their home court against North Brunswick.
At the 1A level Plymouth, East Carteret and Ayden-Grifton will all be at home.
On the girls side West Craven, Northside Jacksonville and Lejeune will all host games Friday. Kinston's ladies and Plymouth's ladies will be on the road.
