
Greenville Police arrested a convicted felon for breaking and entering into an apartment.
It happened on Southpointe Drive.
Kareem Smallwood is in the Pitt County Detention Center under a $25,000 bond.
Detectives say Smallwood, along with at least one other person, stole electronics, jewelry and other things from the apartment.
Smallwood has one prior arrest for breaking and entering and he has a 1998 arrest for murder.
Police say he lived in Brooklyn, New York before moving to Greenville.
