A star-studded audience turned out for the Broadway premiere of Rodgers & Hammerstein's "Cinderella."
The show was originally written for television in 1957. The Broadway version has a new script and additional songs.
Tony nominee Laura Osnes plays Cinderella. Tony winner Victoria Clark is her fairy godmother and fellow winner Harriet Harris plays her stepmother.
A Hollywood awards ceremony is recognizing the more serious issues addressed in movies and on television.
Denzel Washington, Bradley Cooper and Claire Danes are some of the nominees for "Prism Awards."
They honor performances that realistically show substance abuse, treatment and recovery, as well as mental health issues.
Washington played an alcoholic in the movie "Flight." Cooper's character struggled with bipolar disorder in "Silver Linings Playbook," as did Claire Danes on TV's "Homeland."
The awards will be handed out on April 25th.
And out on DVD tomorrow, the Oscar-nominated animated feature, "Wreck It Ralph."
John C. Reilly voices the main character, a wannabe hero who accidentally wrecks everything.
Also out on DVD, the re-make of "Red Dawn." A group of young patriots band together to liberate their town.
