A high school student is behind bars, charged with making threats on facebook.
Greensboro Police say 16-year-old Ayana Pearson hacked another student's facebook account and made a threat from his page to fellow students at Page High School.
They say she posted the following message:
"Dear everyone, if you see this and go to Page High School. You better beware tomorrow I am going to come in with a gun and set traps to kill almost everyone in the school then I'm going to kill myself."
Student alerted school authorities and police. Police tracked the post back to Pearson.
The 10th grader faces one felony charge and six misdemeanors.
Guilford County School officials sent out phone messages to Page High School parents, first advising them of the treat, then updating them after the arrest.
Extra police were on campus Monday.
Pearson is in jail with bond set at $7,000. Her mother had the chance to bail her out in her first court hearing, but she refused, saying her daughter needs to learn a lesson.
