GREENVILLE, N.C. -
A Greenville man is
facing DWI charges for a wreck that closed a major road for most of the day.
It happened just after 8
o'clock this morning at the intersection of Greenville Boulevard and Red Banks Road.
Police identify the
driver as 32-year-old David Chambers. They say Chambers drove his truck into a
utility pole, bringing down the stoplight.
Police say he has at
least 2 prior DWI arrests.
The latest arrest was
less than a month ago.
