States in the Midwest are still cleaning up after storms last week and now they're preparing for another winter storm.
The National Weather Service predicts a band of heavy snow to hit areas from Minneapolis to Chicago today and tonight.
This prompted several snowbirds in Chicago to fly the coop.
Those left behind stocked up at grocery and hardware stores.
Some parts could see around a foot of snow this go-round.
And some are choosing to look on the bright side.
The Nation Weather Service reports that the Washington and Baltimore metro area may also see some snow mixed with rain.
