Mikel Brady, the man who shot a State Trooper during a traffic stop in February, has been indicted on three counts related to the shooting.
First Sergeant Jeff Gordon with the North Carolina State Highway Patrol confirmed that Brady has been indicted on one charge assault with a deadly weapon, one charge assault on a law enforcement officer and one charge attempted murder.
State Trooper Michael Potts was shot four times by Brady during a traffic stop on Highway 70 in Durham on Feb. 18.
Brady's pregnant girlfriend, Lyndsey Smith, 21, has been arrested and charged with being an accessory after the fact in relation to the shooting.
