Wake Forest police arrested a woman Thursday accused of murdering her live-in boyfriend.

According to the Wake Forest Police Department, officers responded to call at the Glen Royall Mill Apartments on N. Main Street shortly before 6 p.m. Wednesday.

Upon arrival, officers assisted EMS with Dorian Kwame Cunningham who had suffered a stab wound.

Cunningham was transported to WakeMed where he died a few hours later.

Police arrested Cunningham's live-in girlfriend, Krystal Terin Delgado, and charged her with first-degree murder.

Bill Cunningham with the Wake Forest Police Department said that 12 calls were made to the address Cunningham and Delgado shared in the past year. Three police reports were filed from those 12 calls.

One of the reports filed says Delgado's mother called police in May to check on the welfare of her daughter.

In a 911 call released Friday, Delgado says her boyfriend tripped over a box and fell onto the knife.

Delgado is being held at the Wake County Jail with no bond.
