The Kinston girls advanced to the 2-A Regional Final tonight with a 49-45 win over Bunn. Lydia Rivers led the Vikings with 20 points while Brittany Drumgoole chipped in 14 points and 13 rebounds.
Over at Crown Coliseum the West Craven boys fell to Rocky Mount. Josh Cuthberson led the Eagles with 18 points and 19 rebounds but it would not be enough. Rocky Mount took advantage of 23 West Craven turnovers to win 62-50.
