Swansboro, West Carteret Fire & EMS, Bear Creek, Hubert, Onslow EMS and many other emergency officials responded.

No injuries were reported but the family dog, Colby, is believed to have gotten out of the home and ran away.

The home is considered a complete loss.  The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
